| This was a mural that wrapped around three faces of a building along the Kennedy Expressway in Chicago. And, by "along", I mean the nearest corner of the building is only a few feet away from it (see the upper right corner in the middle picture below; that's it). So they have to paint the mural instead of printing it on huge fabric which could blow off the building and cause untold mayhem. The image was also used in print ads, outdoor ads, and was even shrink-wrapped around el train cars. Here are some images of it on the building. |
