| This was a mural that wrapped around three faces of a building along the Kennedy Expressway in Chicago. And, by "along", I mean the nearest corner of the building is only a few feet away from it (see the upper right corner in the middle picture below; that's it). So they have to paint the mural instead of printing it on huge fabric — which could blow off the building and cause untold mayhem. The image was also used in print ads, outdoor ads, and was even shrink-wrapped around el train cars. Here are some images of it on the building. |
